“Come in Cielo”, is a solo show by Giulia Filippi and also the fourth “project room” set up by Colli Independent Art Gallery as part of its program dedicated to promoting emerging artists. The research project that the artist has made focuses on the city of Rome, with particular attention to the natural aspects that occur within the city.

The interest is focused mainly on the sidereal dimension and the Pantheon as an archetype for the idea of emptiness–which determines space–and as an artificial tool for observing nature. Her body of work, conceived specifically for the exhibition, focuses on light radiation, rising and expanding, flight, the constant relationship between heaven and earth that is experienced inside the Pantheon, the Sun and stars, their uplifting material and the explosive and luminous energy that belongs to them.
