Bird Song, curated by Britta Färber, Deustche Bank curator and Anne Palopoli MAXXI curator, is Kemang Wa Lehulere’s first solo show in Italy. The South African artist is the recipient of this year’s prestigious Deutsche Bank “Artist of the Year” prize. Featuring around twenty works by the young South African artist (Cape Town, 1984), the exhibition was inaugurated earlier this year at the Deutsche Bank Kunsthalle in Berlin.
