Nanni Balestrini (Milan 1935), is a writer and visual artist and has been the focus of national cultural changes. Among the leaders of the new avant-garde of the season, he was associated with the poets movements ”Last Things” and “Group 63”. He has exhibited in 1993 at the Venice Biennale, in 2012 at Documenta in Kassel, and the personal Mazzoli Gallery in Modena, the Michela Rizzo Gallery in Venice, the Fritelli Florence Gallery, at the MACRO in Rome, the Morra Foundation of Naples, the Mudima Foundation in Milan, the Marconi Foundation in Milan and the Museion in Bolzano. He participated in major group exhibitions, notably The word and art, MaRT Rovereto (2007); Italics, Palazzo Grassi, Venice (2008); 1988 twenty years before twenty years later, the Center for Contemporary Art Luigi Pecci of Prato (2008); Futurism 1909-2009, Palazzo Reale in Milan (2009); Thousand and three, Louvre, Paris, Artissima 2010, Turin (2010); Roma Pop City 60-67, MACRO in Rome (2016). Lala has realized the station subway station in Naples and Incipit stele to Vignola library.
