Museo di Roma in Trastevere
The Museo di Roma in Trastevere is housed in a former Carmelite convent in the popular Trastevere neighbourhood and comprises a permanent collection that records some of the more endearing and unassuming views of the city. Paintings, prints and watercolours depict the daily lives of men and women that walked the back streets and cobbled alleys of the city between the seventeenth and the nineteenth centuries. Temporary exhibitions often explore how photography has been used more recently to document contemporary daily life.
